I am an original owner of a 1997 Honda Del Sol Si. It has 222,000 miles. It is a five speed manual . It is dead bang reliable. I will not buy any new car. First Honda cheapened their cars. They have turbo charged direct injected their cars. You wil be doing gear if you get to 100,000 miles

Far as electric vehicles go I bought my Volvo pure electric Drake last year for $65000. You can buy one now with 7000 miles on it for $30000. That's a $35000 loss in 1 year.

Car manufactures have grabbed people with their video control panels, direct injected , and turbo charging. None of these cars are going to make classic status. If I were you I forget the horrible cars you get. Drive your Z8 BMW , your mother’s old Mercedes and call it a day. The German anJapanese modern cars are not good. The Italians cars are pure crap. The new cars are disposable and will never classic status

All the problems aside (including we are just not there yet on electric vehicle tech), releasing an under promised, incomplete and undeveloped vehicle is really bad business. I will stick with my old fashioned 300,000 mile + capable 5th gen. Toyota 4Runner (Perfect Japanese panel gap, excellent value retention without getting sued) and avoid all electric vehicles. Money , or rather saving it, is a priority right now.

80's GM tech here, to make that seal, make a cut on the inner part of the seal and run a piece of vacuum hose inside it, lubed with silicon spray. Black door trim glue to close the cut. The factory seals for the door and T Top are too soft. That's what I used to fix all the time.

I do not understand why everyone have extraordinary out the ordinary, unusual feelings about this vehicle. Every American car owner has sold vehicles that we do not agree with so we bought other vehicles. I’m not understanding how this isn’t the same thought process with this vehicle. there’s absolutely no maintenance to this vehicle oil changes no carburetor alternators transmissions no leaks in your driveway and you don’t have to put gas in it!!! you get an eight year warranty bumper to bumper. Don’t worry about the depreciation. Keep it for eight years and sell it.!!
